Daniel Molidor is a visionary artist with a bold, exceptional affinity towards color. Full of light and energy, Daniel's painterly abstract world suggests exuberant landscapes teeming with vitality and life, and sometimes kinetic atmospheric phenomena. Sunlight shines through breaks in storms high in the sky, and billowy cumulonimbus cloud banks build over horizons interspersed with tree lines and foliage are all represented in imaginative forms directly from the artist's hand. And though Daniel's vision indeed displays a dynamic expressionism of the forces of the Earth and sky itself, it is nonetheless tranquil, inviting the viewer to embrace the harmony within the eternal, internal fluxus of Mother Nature. Using primarily acrylic paint for its unique drying properties and layering possibilities, as well as its ability to be thinned out into thin flowing veils of liquified color, Daniel takes the effects inherent in his preferred medium and employs them to full effect, building a joyous body of work, and making a one-of-a-kind statement about how he sees the world.
